Bachelors Degree in Visual Communications The AIU Online Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications is designed to meet the needs of students with a strong interest in pursuing careers as web designers/developers, animators, graphic designers, computer based training developers and flash animators. This accelerated program start students off by building a strong foundation in fundamental design principles, followed by advanced training in latest visual communication software including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator Flash and Pagemaker. Program courses include: Principles of Design Web Design Color Theory Photoshop Computer Graphics Computer Illustration Lettering and Typography Computer Animation It is also important to know that students will be required complete a portfolio of real world assignments throughout the program and finish their degree by putting together a design project that they are free to select.
